Twisted Hate by Ana Huang: It was hate at first sight for Jules and Josh but the one thing that neither of them could deny was the insanely hot chemistry. The last thing that Jules should be doing is getting herself tangled up with a cocky insufferable doctor Josh, regardless of how hot he might be the guy is the absolute last complication that she needs in her already crazy life. But when their attraction reaches boiling point Jules and Josh have no choice but to do something about the fire burning between them, which is how they find themselves in an enemies with benefits relationship. The only rule don’t fall in love with each other! But with spending more time together things begin to change between these two frenemies, could their match made in hell actually be a perfect match?
LOVED!! I think Twisted Hate was just perfection, I loved every moment of reading Josh and Jules story. These two could not be more perfect for each other while dishing up some of the hottest banter ever! I love a good friends to lovers read but Huang gives us one better with a super hot enemies to lovers read and let me just tell you that it was GOOD!
I just loved Jules, she was such a sassy leading lady that owned her smart wit. I really liked that we got to see a different side to her in this book, gone are her party girl ways and in her place is a focused and determined lady. But gosh did my heart just break once we got to dive into her past, I hated what her mother did to her and that Jules really didn’t have the smoothest of starts. But out girl really is working to becoming the best lawyer. More than anything I loved the fact that Jules was so quick witted and that she was always ready to banter with Josh.
Gosh Josh was really an interesting one, there were moment that I just wanted to slap him for being such a jerk but at the same time there was just something so incredibly hot about his take charge attitude. There was no question about the fact that he was a total alpha hero and gosh did he make this known in all those steamy scenes! I will say that I liked that we got to see the conflict between Josh and Alex get resolved in this book and we got to see a bit more of his relationship with Ava. For all his jerky behaviour Josh was actually a really nice guy when he wanted to be, I just loved that he showed Jules his softer more caring side.
The chemistry and passion in this book was intense. Josh and Jules could not be more perfect for each other! The constant fiery banter that bounced between these two just made this book perfect. They did have a few hiccups in their relationship but it all worked out in the end. I really liked the secondary characters in this book, mostly because we got to see Josh, Jules, Ava and Alex all interacting. The entire bit where Josh told Ava about his relationship with Jules was pure brilliance!
I highly recommend reading Twisted Hate, this addictively sinful hate to love romance will have you hooked from start to end!
