unruleyUnruly (Knights in Black Leather #2) by Ronnie Douglas, Melissa Marr: This is the second book in the Knights in Black Leather series and although I did not read book 1, this book stands on it’s own, never once was a lost. This book has everything, mystery, HOT bikers, protective bikers, and sparks that would not stop. This is the story of Ellen and Alamo.

Ellen grew up in the Southern Wolves MC. He father was part of the club, and after being killed, she and her mother were protected and looked after by the Wolves. She has a thing going with one of the members, but it is not serious and she knows that she needs to stay away from him. After sneaking out of his apartment, she calls the MC looking for a ride, what she did not expect is the newest member in town, Alamo. She also did not expect the instant attraction that sparks between them.

Alamo is a Southern Wolf. He is forced to leave his home and his sister after he beat someone so badly for hurting her friend that he was put in the hospital. When he lays eyes on Ellen, he is stunned by her beauty, both inside and out, but when he is told that she is under the protection of one of the members, Alamo knows that Ellen is off limits. But they keep being thrown together, and it is getting harder and harder to keep his hands off.

Just as things get cleared up and these two look like they might be on the right path to HEA, Alamo’s past comes round full circle and Ellen is the one in danger. It will take Alamo and the rest of the wolves to track her down and get to her in time.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Alamo and Ellen. Ellen is tough, she does not take crap from anyone, and she is not afraid to go toe to toe with those that wrong her. I loved the protective instinct that Alamo has for his sister, her best friend, and Ellen. He will stop at nothing to make sure that they are safe and respected. There are a lot of things going on in this story, but the pace was on target and the characters were well developed. I have to say that the HEA between Ellen and Alamo was beautiful, and the author did a wonderful job setting the reader up for the next book in the series.

The second novel in Ronnie Douglas’ sexy Southern Wolves motorcycle club series—reminiscent of Kristen Ashley and Jay Crownover—tells the story of an aspiring fashion designer and a biker who discover a desire that knows no limits.

When the daughter of one of the Southern Wolves gets a flat in the middle of a thunderstorm, there’s only one thing to do—strip down to her underwear and get a little muddy. But when Alamo, the sexy biker shows up to rescue Ellen yet again, things are bound to get a whole lot dirtier.

Between the trouble he left behind and club rules, Alamo knows he needs to stay clear of Ellen. He’s not looking for a woman or complications—even when that woman is everything a man could want. Unfortunately, Ellen isn’t playing by anyone’s rules but her own these days, and a Southern woman who’s been raised by Wolves is awfully hard to deny.

So when they give in to their raging attraction, both get much more than they bargained for.

Sounds interesting. I am a big Kristen Ashley fan and I just glommed JoAnna Wylde’s MC books. I’ll be checking this one out.
