I loved watching her rediscover what made her happy and begin making decisions based on what she wanted rather than what was expected of her.

Ted was playful, charming, and happy to lean into his reputation as Red Bridge’s favorite flirt. But beneath all of that is a man carrying pain he’s spent years trying to outrun. The more Breezy got to know him, the more those carefully constructed walls began to crack.

The chemistry between Breezy and Tad was playful, flirty, and impossible to ignore, but what stood out was how naturally they fit into each other’s lives. Breezy challenged Tad to stop hiding behind the version of himself everyone expected, while Tad gave Breezy the space to imagine a future that looked nothing like the one she’d lost. Watching them become each other’s safe place made their romance especially satisfying.
