REVIEW: Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven

Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven reminds us that love isn’t easy but if it’s true love, you can overcome just about anything. I was nervous going into this book because I knew there was going to be some angsty goodness to this story and I’m not a big of angst, but I have to say that Wicked Heart is worth putting my big girl panties on and diving head first into it. This has to be one of the best second chance romances that I have ever read. It’s filled with so many emotions that it’s impossible to not get pulled into the story.

Six years ago Elissa and Liam were in love, but one monumental decision changed everything. Liam met Angel and Elissa suffered in silence. Now Liam is a huge movie star along with his fiancée and their next production is under Elissa’s management. Old feelings that have never gone away, make themselves known as Elissa and Liam try to learn to work together. But how do you work with the person you’ve always loved, knowing he belongs to someone else?

You would think that Elissa would hate Liam’s fiancée but Angel is one of those people who you can’t hate, even if you tried. Not everything is how it appears. There is a big secret in this book that revolves around Liam and Angel and you need to read Wicked Heart to find out exactly what it is because it’s not something that should be spoiled. Just know…that the secret is epic and will change everything!

This book will make you feel EVERYTHING! The story itself is well-written with complex characters that exhibit passion in almost every scene. This is one of those books that you need to read in one sitting and to be honest, you won’t want to put the book down until the end. Wicked Heart can be read as a standalone and if you enjoy second chance romances, I would definitely recommend this book!
