In You, Me, and Forever by Laura Pavlov, Montana Kingsley and her best friend Violet created their wedding planning business about five years ago in her tiny hometown of Blushing, Alaska. Business is booming thanks to a celebrity couple getting married at the town’s historic inn last year and Montana and Violet are trying to keep that momentum going. But now they find out the Seaside Inn has been sold to a big-name real estate guy from NYC. And he’s going to tear down the inn to put up a new monstrosity. Montana figured the first time she met the new owner she’d give him a piece of her mind. Turns out that Myles St. James is very different than she imagined. And after a misunderstanding that puts them even more at odds, they end up hitting it off when they lay their cards on the table and are honest about who they are and what they want. But Myles won’t be in Blushing forever. And Montana can’t stand the thought of not seeing him again. Living a couple thousand miles apart, though, she’s not sure how to make things work.

“Not every relationship needs to last forever to be impactful. Ours is one I will carry with me forever, though. Because you showed me what it means to feel treasured and cared for.”

Myles instantly liked Blushing and the locals as soon as his plane touched down. Having a sexy night with a fun, beautiful woman who also happens to be one of his biggest critics wasn’t on his bingo card, but he can’t regret their evening together. As the construction project on the inn gets underway, Myles straightens things out with Montana. Somewhat. There are still questions about a new venue for her business to use, but their personal relationship–er, fling, is hot and spicy and leaving him wanting more. Way more. Because Montana is everything Myles never knew he wanted in a woman. But after his turbulent childhood, he has no idea what a real, healthy relationship looks like. And he’s pretty sure he’s not good enough for someone as special as Montana. Even though he wishes he could be the man to spend forever with her.

“I don’t want you to do something you’ll regret. My ego is far too big to be anyone’s regret.”
She groaned. “My first fling has a moral compass? This is a total bust. Isn’t this your thing? Do you normally turn down sex with a one-night stand?”
She was funny and cute as hell.

YOU, ME, AND FOREVER was a feel-good read that I didn’t want to end. Enemies to lovers, small town goodness complete with nosy locals and adorable critters, and a steamy romance for the ages, Laura Pavlov outdid herself with this one.

“Thank you for being the man of my dreams.”
“Happy to oblige, beautiful.” He smirked as I climbed over the seat and onto his lap.
“I love you.”
“I love you. It’s you, me, and forever,” he said before he tugged my head down and kissed me.

I had such a great time reading YOU, ME, AND FOREVER. Laura Pavlov is famous for her dual POV swoony love stories but there was something truly special about Montana and Myles–as well as Blushing, Alaska. I’m going old school here, but it had Northern Exposure-type vibes to me being a quirky small town that charmed the hero right away, with gorgeous scenery as well as having the Midnight Sun of course. Oh, and a moose named Clifford who hung around town and peeked in people’s windows. Nearly everything (and everyone) was comforting and heartwarming, making Blushing a place I wish was real so we could all enjoy the ambiance.

Montana and Myles proved to be a fun, sexy couple who were honestly adorable together. They clicked from the first time they met. But where Myles was going to tear down the local historic inn to do a complete rebuild, a venue that Montana used regularly in her wedding planning business, it created a lot of friction. So, on top of them having a one-night stand they both already knew could turn into something more if they let it, the animosity between them about the inn made it difficult to see eye to eye. But once Myles and Montana decided to enjoy his time in Blushing and to work out what they could about her business, they spent most of their evenings–and nights!–together. And it was wild and passionate, funny and sweet. I just loved their bantering.

Pavlov really made this a well-rounded story by also including Myles’ family and some of the issues they were facing. There were some poignant moments and some scenes that will likely cause readers to get a bit misty-eyed as Myles, his brother Samuel, and their mother all started moving toward a happier future after years of not dealing with their feelings or problems. So, if you like romances that are mostly lighthearted but still have some definite depth to the emotions, this will be the perfect book to pick up.

USA Today bestselling author Laura Pavlov delivers a spicy enemies-to-lovers romance about a billionaire developer and a small-town entrepreneur battling their desires in the Land of the Midnight Sun.

Myles St. James is tearing my world apart.

Wish I’d known that before I slept with him.

It was supposed to be a one-night stand.

Like I knew anything about those.

But I needed to blow off steam.

My ex had just gotten engaged.

My dry spell was nearing six months.

And my booming wedding planning business—the one I started with my bestie—was about to lose its favorite venue to some bulldozer-happy developer from New York.

The Seaside Inn is such a special place.

My second home.

And ever since that famous singer got married there, people are flocking to Blushing, Alaska, for their own weddings too.

Guess whose fling turns out to be the hotshot real estate guy?

But he isn’t what I expected.

And sleeping with the enemy doesn’t feel nearly as wrong as it should.

Because Myles St. James is rocking my world.

Too bad giving in to him could mean giving up my dreams.
