Spotlight&Giveaway

Hi Kelly and welcome to HJ! We’re so excited to chat with you about your new release, Fearless Enough!

Hey y’all! Thanks for having me!

Please summarize the book for the readers here:

Fearless Enough is a second generation novel from my Meet Me in Montana series. The hero is the little boy from the first series, Blayze. This book can be summed up as a second chance, small town, family saga adventure!

Please share your favorite line(s) or quote from this book:

“Georgie here would like to ride a bull,” Blayze announced with a smile.
“Um, no, Georgie would not,” I said.

Please share a few Fun facts about this book…

I traveled up to Hamilton Montana twice to write this series and the one before it. Blayze wasn’t even going to be a part of the first series until the last minute when I decided my grumpy cowboy needed to be a single dad!

What first attracts your Hero to the Heroine and vice versa?

They are high school sweetheart who meet through their parent’s friendship. Both of their father’s were bull riders.

Did any scene have you blushing, crying or laughing while writing it? And Why?

I laughed a lot while writing this book. I did tear up once, but I don’t want to spoil anything and tell which part of the story got me with the feels!

Readers should read this book….

If you love a small town, western romance. A fan of close proximity, second chances, cowboys, and a family you will fall in love with.

What are you currently working on? What other releases do you have in the works?

I’m currently writing the fourth book in the Love in Montana series and next up after Fearless Enough is Cherished Enough. Anyone who loves a good suspense book will love book two!

Thanks for blogging at HJ!

Excerpt from Fearless Enough:

Before I could say anything, the waitress came back with our coffees and my juice.
“Ready to order?” she asked.
Blayze looked at me and raised a brow.
“Yes.” I looked down at the menu and said the first thing I saw. “Three rolled apples, please.”
The waitress wrote down my order. “Great pick. And for you?”
Blayze handed her the menu and flashed me a smile that nearly had me blushing. “I’ll take the peach Belgium waffle.”
“With whipped cream?” she asked.
Blayze turned and looked at her. “The cream is the best part.”
I was positive my jaw fell to the table while the waitress let out a breathy laugh.
“Indeed, it is.”
When she turned and walked away, I kicked Blayze under the table.
“Ouch! What the hell, Georgie.”
“I’m not a little girl anymore, stop calling me that.”
His gaze fell to my breasts. “No, you are not a little girl anymore.”
I snapped my fingers in front of him. “Up here, Blayze.”
Laughing, he pulled his phone out and checked it.
“Do you really think that was appropriate to say to her?” I asked.
He glanced up. “She didn’t seem bothered by the fact that I like the cream the best.”
I sighed in frustration. “You made it sexual, Blayze.”
With a tilt of his head, he studied me. “Or you took it that way.”
I folded my arms over my chest as I looked away. “Ugh. You haven’t changed at all. You’re exactly the same.”
“Please enlighten me.”
I swung my gaze back to him and tried not to get lost in those sky-blue eyes. “Cocky and a flirt.”
Blayze lifted the coffee cup up to his mouth and blew on it. My eyes instantly went to his mouth, and I swore I could feel those lips moving down my neck. When he blew on the liquid, I focused on my own coffee.
“Glad to get that right out on the table,” he said. “And your dad thought you were the right person to interview me?”
“I’m sorry?”
He shrugged. “Seems to me that if you hate me that much, it could impact what you write about me—if I was going to allow you to write about me, which I’m not.”
My heart dropped. “I don’t hate you, Blayze.”
The way his eyes pierced mine felt like he could see right into my soul. “You certainly don’t like me, and you made that clear the last time I saw you.”

Book Info:

Fearless Enough is a spin-off novel from New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series. Readers will head back to Hamilton, Montana, for a family reunion like no other!
Blayze Shaw could sum up his life in one word, fulfilling. He grew up in the shadow of his famous father, Brock Shaw, a multi-year PBR champion, but chose not to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Instead, choosing to work on the family’s cattle ranch in Hamilton, Montana. Everything in his life was exactly how he wanted it, and he was the happiest he’d ever been.
When a woman from his past resurfaces and is given the task of diving deep into his world for the answers he isn’t willing to share, Blayze’s perfect world is thrown into a tailspin. He wants to dislike her, but the more time they spend together bickering back and forth, the harder it is to fight his feelings.
Georgiana Crenshaw is chasing a career as a sports reporter and has something to prove to the top dogs at the network where she works. She hasn’t made it this far simply because of who her father is. Georgiana has succeeded solely due to hard work and determination. She dives in when given a chance to show she has what it takes to get the promotion she desperately wants. Told it will be the interview of a lifetime, Georgiana shows up at the airport with a go-get-’em attitude. Only when her father tells her who she’ll be interviewing does she have a moment of doubt.
But honestly, how hard could it be to interview an arrogant, self-centered, obnoxious, too handsome for his own good flirt, who gave Georgiana her first kiss behind the barn on his father’s ranch?
