A Vengeful Affair by Carmen Falcone

Published July 2012 by Indulgence (Entangled Publishing)

Book Info:

Rich people get away with murder every day, but Vivian Foster intends to make billionaire Javier Rivera pay for what he did to her best friend—and how better to destroy a money-grubbing bastard than to sabotage the merger that means everything to him.

Javier Rivera would never hurt a woman much less kill one. But when he catches a gorgeous corporate spy in his office, he knows he can’t let her go—not when even a hint of scandal could ruin his career. Until the merger is signed, he’ll keep her close, even if he has to shackle her to his wrist. Literally.

But the closer Javier gets to Vivian, the more he wants her, and the more time she spends with him, the less she believes he could ever be a killer. Now Vivian and Javier have to discover the truth…and Vivian has to win the trust of her worst enemy.

Review:

Murder, revenge and downfall ! Yes this book had it all wrapped up into one, oh and lots of passion as well. I totally loved this book.

I loved how Vivan decided to go and get her own back so to speak and in the process gets caught by a very sexy man ..the man that she is there to declare war upon. However she did not bet on him knowing she is the one to start the war. It was one seriously hot book, and all too soon for me it ended.

Overall plot was really good and when I say it ended too soon I mean I was so entranced by the story that when it ended it was kind of like when your watching a series and it tells you that was the final episode and you feel like you need more.

Vivian is brave, she is one of those who laughs in the face of danger and does not back down no matter how hard the opponent is to beat. And Javier my oh my the author made him sound so delicious that he is definitely one of those come and sit on my lap and tell me what you want for Christmas kind of guy.

A veneful Affair was fun, fresh, new and spicy! Loved every single second of it!

I am really looking forward to reading more from Carmen and I know I will not be at all disappointed when I pick up my next Carmen Falcone book.
