After literally falling into her first love’s lap, up and coming fashion designer Anna Vega’s head is swimming with memories, mostly the mortifying memories of when she told Antonio many years ago she loved him. Antonio Cabrera, property tycoon and childhood best friend of Anna was on a stealth mission to check up on Anna’s welfare. Not planning to make his presence known, Antonio felt like he’d been hit by a brick once he saw Anna on the runway, then tumble onto his lap.
Not ready to let Anna go, Antonio comes up with a plan to help them both gain important media exposure. With the media incessantly hounding him now his two brothers are famously settling down and about to open his latest luxurious hotel; then surely dating Anna would bring the needed attention to his new hotel. Being in each other’s company 24/7 drums up a host of feelings. Antonio has to face up to why he rejected Anna in the first place. Antonio really does have to make peace with the past to secure his future but after years of thinking he doesn’t deserve happiness or a life with Anna; once again he walks away when it counts.
I adored both Antonio and Anna. Antonio was a good guy, he strived to be the perfect son and while he’d distanced himself from his brothers, the love he felt for his family shone through. Anna was a delight. She saw the positive in everything and her growth shone through from the author. She is beautiful inside and out. Anna’s spirit was contagious and I feel like the author had a genuine love for her.
Surrounded by beautiful locations and wonderful script, A Deal for the Tycoon’s Diamonds was sweet and one of the most beautiful convenience relationships troupe I’ve read. I really, really enjoyed it. I believed in a win for both Antonio and Anna. Their love built up, their back stories were enjoyable and both Anna and Antonio’s family were beautifully entwined into the story. The emotion was just right, there was incredible passion. I wouldn’t change anything in this beautiful story.
