John Fairweather never expects a little flirting with the auditor to get so serious so fast. But when her investigation turns up a smoking gun, will all bets be off for their fledgling affair?

A High Stakes Seduction by Jennifer Lewis i s a well written romance with a great chemistry between the characters. The plot was well executed and though it was a little slow in the starting, I liked the way it progressed with each chapter.

Constance has lived a sheltered life as an only child and there has not been much upheaval in her life. She lives a monotonous life and is focused on her job. She was an ordinary character who tries to blends in and does not stand out in a crowd. John is a very likable hero and it takes time but I readily accepted him when I saw how much helpful and caring he was. I liked that about him and also the fact that he was smitten with Constance from the first glance. The romance is well written with the right amount of steam and emotions. The main conflict is not dragged out too much towards the end and we get a sweet and very satisfying HEA.

Overall, A High Stakes Seduction by Jennifer Lewis is a sweet, sexy romance which is enjoyable and does not disappoint.
