The Wilder family have wormed a special place into my heart and I have been absolutely loving following this wacky family as they worked to find their happily ever afters. I think it is safe to say that Kane was the sweetest Wilder of the bunch with a heart of gold and let me just tell you the more we got to know this sweet heart the more I feel in love with him.
Marigold was such a cool free spirited leading lady, I loved that her character underwent so much of growth and really finding herself within the Wilder clan. I just loved that she was so chilled about everything, even when she was having a mini freak out she didn’t go flying off the deep end and do anything drastic. I will say that my heart did break for her each time that she had to deal or interact with her mother, gosh this lady just irritated me to no end! I do wish that we could have had a bit more in terms of closure for Mari and her mother but really in the end the Wilders were family enough for her to feel like she belonged and that just made my heart warm.
Now for our heart melting hero Kane, well simply put he was the sweetest Wilder ever! I just loved this guy, not only was he a genuinely good guy but he was always willing to help out in any way he could. I just loved getting to see him try and win Mari over, I have to say that I really liked that he didn’t bulldoze her with all these demands but instead slowly proved to her that he is the type of man that can not only take care of her but their baby as well. Getting to see him slowly build trust and a relationship with Mari made this book all the more sweet and heartwarming, as for their chemistry well that was just a steamy little bonus!
One of the things that make the Wilder series such a hit for me is that family plays such a huge role throughout the book and that they are always there to support and encourage each other. I absolutely ate up all the scenes with the Wilder clan and the way they welcomed Mari into their merry wacky band. I must say that I really liked that Mari helped Kane realise that he is more than just another wheel in the Wilder family machine and that he can make something more of his passion for photography. I have to say that I loved that this book was low on the drama and mainly focused on a sugar sweet love story.
I just can not get enough of these Wilders and let me just say I am counting down the days until I can get my hands on the next Wilder book!! I am so ready for Easton’s story and it already looks like it is going to be a goodie!! A Little Wilder is a definite must read this super sweet and heart warming romance will worm its way into your heart within the first few chapters!
