In Always Enough by Kelly Elliott, Moving from Atlanta to remote Hamilton, Montana was quite a
shock to the system for Kaylee Holden. She has to admit that she loves the majestic beauty of the landscape and the kind locals she’s met, but the fierce winter cold has her thinking twice. Too bad handsome former rodeo star Ty Shaw wouldn’t offer to warm her up. Their attraction is off the charts. But even after a sizzling kiss, Ty is holding back from pursuing Kaylee. And it’s driving her crazy. She never thought she’d fall for someone again after her fiance’s death, but what she feels for Ty is oh so real and unrelenting. Now if Kaylee can just convince the stubborn cowboy that what they have is something worth taking a chance on.

‘Ty looked at me with so much love in his eyes that I nearly melted on the spot. It was hard to believe that I’d ever had any sort of happiness before this man, because his smile alone filled my heart with so much joy.’

Ty’s life has revolved around the Professional Bull Rider’s events since he was a kid. So after a bad car accident left his leg severely damaged, finding out he would never ride a bull again was devastating. Through a lot of pain and therapy, Ty does end up walking again, which was also in question at one time. But his life feels incomplete with his career taken away. He’d love to focus his attention on feisty Kaylee, his sister-in-law’s BFF, but Ty doesn’t feel like he can be the man she needs, given how messed up his life is. Even with everyone doing their best to push them together, it will take some serious work on Ty’s part to get to a place where he thinks he can be good enough for a wonderful woman such as Kaylee.

‘I had nothing to offer a woman like Kaylee. She deserved someone who wasn’t broken. And I was as broken as they came.’

Kelly Elliott turned up the charm and the heat in Always Enough, her second novel in the Meet Me in Montana series. With a knockout cast and two world-weary souls ready for some goodness in their lives, this was one sexy, heartwarming love story.

“You are everything to me. Every single flaw, imperfection, struggle, demon, painful memory…they’re mine now also. The same goes for me. All of my doubts, struggles, fears–they’re yours. Together, we make a beautiful puzzle with all our crazy pieces.”

Kelly Elliott is one of my favorite new contemporary romance authors I’ve found. There’s something about how genuine her characters are and the wonderful mix of humor, heart, and emotional depth that resonates with me every time. Always Enough was a highly entertaining romp with former PBR champ Ty and sassy book editor Kaylee who you could just immediately tell deserved to be together. And they definitely deserved something positive to happen to them after both overcoming tragic events in their recent past. Their backgrounds may be difficult to read. But Kaylee and Ty were strong individuals and fought their way through the tough stuff to heal and eventually build a future together.

I got such a kick out of the bantering between Ty and Kaylee. Dear Lord, were they fun! It was antagonistic–but not in a mean way–and full of passion and humor. Theirs was an attraction that because they pushed each other away so much with their bickering, it made them doubt that connection between them. But everyone around them of course knew they would wind up together. It was hysterical at times with how oblivious Kaylee and Ty were about what was happening. Once they finally figured it out, though? Sweepingly romantic and hot as hell. Just like the couple themselves.

Always Enough was a memorable romance that will be sure to delight readers with its warm sense of family and friendship, and with the healing power of love. Definitely recommended.

The second novel in New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott’s Meet Me in Montana series turns up the emotion with a story about finding true love and healing broken hearts.

Grieving the loss of her fiancé two years ago, Kaylee longs for a fresh start. When she follows her best friend from Atlanta to Hamilton, Montana, Kaylee looks forward to the wild terrain and a new town to help her forget the memories and dreams of a life that will never be hers.

After a tragic car accident, Ty Shaw is told he may never walk again. But Ty doesn’t easily accept defeat, and through grit, determination, and more physical therapy than any man should ever endure, he beats the odds. Even though he’ll never ride again, Ty longs to feel alive—the way he did on the Professional Bull Riders circuit.

When Kaylee meets Ty, she finds him just as captivating as the rugged landscape of Montana. When Ty is with Kaylee, he remembers just how good life can be. But can they move beyond their broken hearts and dreams to find a second chance with each other?

Thank you, Renee! She has a modern writing style that reminds me of Lori Wilde. Nice amount of heat, emotions, laughter…and cowboys! 😉 Enjoy, if you give her work a try!
