Always You by Denise Grover Swank: Fourteen years ago the love of Matt’s life rejected his proposal after college graduation and moved to London. Now, she’s back in his life and her young son is on the soccer team he’s coaching. To make matters worse, his nephew, whom he takes care of for his sister, is best friends with her son.
Anna’s only back in town for a month or so to take care of her father, and of course she has to run into Matt, the only man she’s ever loved, and the man whose heart she destroyed, constantly. But Anna didn’t know back then if she could give Matt the family life he wanted, not when she needed the independence she saw her mother lose in marriage.
With the chemistry still intense between the two, they fall hard and fast once again. At least this time, Matt and Anna know there’s an end date…
I’m not the biggest fan of second chances, but I did like how Swank set this up. Too often the break-up is due to miscommunication or something ridiculous, but Matt and Anna’s break-up was definitely real and heartbreaking.
I did feel too much of a focus was given to the children – so if you like the family-heavy romances, I certainly recommend Always You. I’m not much for the kids, so I did find myself bored and annoyed at times by them.
However, Anna and Matt were a cute and passionate couple. I would’ve appreciate a little more excitement, and a more interesting villainous ex-husband on Anna’s part, but they fit as a couple, and I definitely rooted for them.

First love is better the second time around.
Matt Osborn had no idea coaching his five-year-old nephew’s soccer team would get him so much attention from the mothers-attention he doesn’t want now that he’s given up on love and having a family of his own. Yep, Matt’s the last of his bachelor buddies, and plans on staying that way. That is, until he finds himself face-to-face with the woman who broke his heart.
Single mom Anna paused her life in England to help her father recover from an illness. She can’t afford complications, and too-hot-for-his-own-good Matt Osborn-her almost former fiancé-is definitely a complication. He’s a reminder of what might have been-or should have been. That irresistible pull between them isn’t over. Not even close. But if she’s not careful, she’ll break both their hearts . . . again.
