Beauty and the Billionaire: The Wedding by Jessica Clare
Beauty-and-the-Billionaire-The-WeddingGretchen can’t wait to marry Hunter, but planning for their wedding has been slowly driving her nuts. Between moving the date, changing the bridal party, contractors working at the house, and the return of her sister Daphne, the stress of it all is getting to her. The problem continues to snowball as she takes on more and more of the catering for the reception with the date quickly approaching.

Gretchen: There was a croquembouche disaster.
Bronte: Croque-what?
Greer: Oh no, Gretchen. More firings? You can’t cater the entire wedding yourself!
Edie: Gretchen, honey, you’re going to give yourself a nervous breakdown before the wedding.

Hunter is caring and understanding while he impatiently waits for their big day. Gretchen is delightful, if a bit neurotic, as their much-anticipated wedding day approaches. She is concerned about ensuring that the day goes off without a hitch while it seems like the more she plans, the more things are falling apart. Luckily, she has some great bridesmaids who are willing to pitch in, try to help out, and talk her down. It doesn’t help when she learns that her devoted fiance seems to be keeping a secret from her.

“Every moment doesn’t have to be a sexy moment,” Hunter said in that grace, deep voice of his. “Just as long as it’s with you.”
Damn. Just like that, her eyes welled up and she began to cry once more. “Stop being so understanding!”
