Best-ManBest Man for the Bridesmaid (The DeFiore Brothers #2) by Jennifer Faye: Julianne, Jules, Lane was flying across the world to see her sister, her only family in the world, and meet her new fiancé. Oh and to attempt to break the news that instead of going to graduate school she was going to try something else. Jules knew she was about to uproot her life and make her world shift, but what she didn’t realize was how much it was going to shift.

Stefano DeFiore’s little brother was getting married, he should be happy, right? It’s not that he didn’t love his future sister in law, he did, but he wasn’t sure he believed in marriage any more. He had seen what destruction it could cause with his father and with him. However he now had something else to deal with, his future sister in law’s sister at his villa. Would it be big enough to fight the attraction?

This is the second story in the DeFiore brother’s duet. While the writing is exquisite and the story helps to close the story of Lizzie and Dante the story of Jules and Stefano falls a little bit flat for me. Stefano is a bit too damaged and too pigheaded while Jules seems to be willing to take it. However I know it was a well-written book because as frustrating as the characters were I was too involved in them to let it go. I would recommend this book, but honestly only to really complete the first.

Always the bridesmaid

Planning her sister’s Italian wedding only reminds Jules Lane of how far away she is from finding her own true love. And worse, she’s doing it alongside the brooding, mouthwateringly handsome best man, Stefano DeFiore.

Maybe the bride?

Having seen the destructive power of love, Stefano has no time for weddings but Jules’s smile is captivating. Making her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world is one thing, but can he give this blushing bridesmaid a happily-ever-after of her own?
