REVIEW: Black Listed by Shelly Bell

Black Listed by Shelly Bell is sexy, suspenseful, and utterly delightful! Lisa Smith is a con artist or she was. When Lisa makes Billionaire Sawyer Hayes her next mark, she never expected how their relationship would turn out. The rules of the game became hazy when she fell in love with him and then married him. Loving someone isn’t easy and Sawyer and Lisa learn this lesson.

Would you give up the person you loved if their life was in danger? Lisa had to make that choice and she did what she thought was right. The only person to ever show Lisa any love is Sawyer, so when someone threatens him, she immediately leaves town, with the only piece of evidence that could possibly keep him safe. When they see each other again, it’s not exactly a happy reunion. Tension is in the air and emotions run high.

For seven days Lisa belongs to Sawyer. Once those seven days are over, he will grant her a divorce. Let me just say that, Sawyer and Lisa are not afraid to get kinky and there are some scenes where Sawyer shares Lisa, but it’s what she wants. That’s the beauty of their relationship, they both have similar desires and can freely explore their sexual desires without judgement. They really mesh well together, it’s a just shame someone is trying to kill Lisa.

Trust is extremely important in any relationship, but more important in a BDSM relationship and these two will have to break down each other’s walls to really have a future together. Black Listed is the fourth book in the Benediction series but can be read as a standalone. I would highly recommend checking out the previous books because it’s really a must-read series for those readers who enjoy BDSM and suspense with their romances.

Black Listed is well-written with fully developed characters who are exciting, passionate, and enthralling. Highly recommended!
