Christmas on Peach Tree Lane by Jules Bennett: Being back in Peach Grove was definitely not on Brady Jacksons itinerary, but after having a blow up at his law firm Brady finds himself back at his late grandfather’s plantation house; to cool down and to pack up all the family belongings. The very last thing Brady was expecting was to be woken up by the chipper reindeer headband wearing Christmas loving Violet Calhoun. Violet is on a mission to bring Christmas cheer to the whole town of Peach Grove and if that means going head to head with the sexy grinch, then so be it.
“He wasn’t looking for romance, wasn’t looking for a fling or anything of the sort. And while he wasn’t looking… Brady worried that’s exactly what he was finding.”
Violet loves all things Christmas and all things Peach Grove, so heading up the historic Tinsel Tour after the passing of her mentor and psuedo grandfather William Jackson, was a no brainer, after all the Tinsel Tour incorporates her two favourite things all while helping raise money to build a new park for the local kids. The only problem being one grouchy Brady Jackson, who seems hell bent on putting his grandfather’s stately plantation home on sale. Now this just can not do as Violet needs this home as her final stop for the Tinsel Tour, after all the tour was founded by Mr and Mrs Jackson and this is the anniversary year. Oh and did I mention that this year a big magazine is planning on doing a feature on Violet and her friends and the Tinsel Tour. Fully prepared to wear Brady down with her sweet charm and Christmasy gifts Violet sets about getting Brady to change his mind. Somewhere between showing Brady the magic of Christmas in Peach Grove, the Chocolate Walk and picking up the cute Luna things begin to change between Brady and Violet, but the question is will this be enough to get Brady to move back to the small town?
“Instead of spending all my time alone with my memories and my remorse, I was steamrolled by Santa’s elf and I didn’t have time to think of much else.”
This Christmassy slow burn romance stole my heart right from the get go! Just whisk me away to Peach Grove and leave me in Christmas wonderland, I absolutely loved this small town and all its cheerful locals, though I have to say Violet truly is the star of this novel. There was no way you could not love her with all her jingle and sparkle. I loved that each chapter opened with a quirky quote from Violet, and really some of those are to live by like;
“Keep your holiday diet balanced… a cookie in each hand” and “Christmas calories don’t count.” Now these are truths we should all live by.
It was so easy to fall into this small town romance with Violet and Brady, I absolutely adored the way these two started out their relationship and how things progressed, it was almost as if Brady did not stand a chance. I really liked that we got to know Brady more and more as each chapter went by and even more so when Luna came into the picture. Both these two characters were really well developed and gelled together perfectly, it was opposites attract heaven.
“May you never be too grown-up to search the skies on Christmas Eve. * Violet Calhoun”
Christmas on Peach Tree Lane was a perfect Christmas themed read to get the warm fuzzy feelings going and being the count down to the festive season. Definitely recommend this one!

Event planner Violet Calhoun lives to deck the halls, and her quaint Southern hometown’s fiftieth annual Tinsel Tour will be the event of the season. With a magazine crew on hand to document Peach Grove’s transformation into a winter wonderland, this year’s festivities have got to be the holly-est, jolliest yet. She does not have the time to deal with a Grinch—even a gorgeous one like Brady Jackson.
Divorce attorney Brady has plans to divest himself of his family’s ancestral mansion and be back at his Atlanta firm by New Year’s. Hanging so much as a wreath on the door is not a part of that plan. Nor is dealing with an annoying—though undeniably adorable—elf.
But Violet is all about making holiday magic happen. As they work together to stage Brady’s historic house, the town grump reveals he’s more sexy than Scrooge. And after some mind-blowing kisses, what starts as a Christmas flirtation starts to feel more like a year-round affair…
