Dom-Com by Adriana Anders: Rae has always been the cheerful, responsible one. The bright spark in every office, the friend who keeps everyone laughing
and the woman who quietly follows all the rules. But when curiosity takes her through the doors of a BDSM club…she discovers a side of herself that she never realised existed, a side that is bold, playful and hungry for more than she ever expected. Enter Grant the complete opposite to everything Rae is…Grant is brooding, commanding and utterly magnetic. A complete master of control in every aspect of his life and he has no intention of letting anyone in… especially not a curious, fiery woman who makes him question everything. But fate has other plans… When Grant steps into Rae’s office as a consultant the boundaries blur and desire clashes with professionalism in ways neither of them can ignore. Soon Rae and Grant find themselves navigating the tension of small stolen moments, workplace proximity and simmering attraction, their connection deepens into something both passionate and unexpectedly tender…
Going into Dom-Com I was not to sure what to expect, but gosh did Anders just have me hooked from the very first chapter. Dom-Com delivers a story that was equal parts steamy, funny and surprisingly tender, with characters that felt instantly real and likeable. Rae and Grant’s dynamic was full of sparks, playful banter and just enough tension to keep me turning the pages. While the romance did lean heavily on its kink-flavored premise it was balanced with genuine emotion and heart that made it an easy read for me.
Rae was bright, funny and endlessly relatable. She was someone who is confident in her own way but at the same time still discovering new sides of herself as the story unfolds. She was sweet, sharp and had a spark that makes you root for her from page one. Grant in contrast was commanding, intense and effortlessly magnetic. But beneath his broody exterior there was real warmth and care that slowly came through with each interaction with Rae.
Together these two balanced each other perfectly, Rae brings light and playfulness to Grant’s seriousness, while Grant challenges Rae to explore her desires and step outside her comfort zone. Their chemistry feels effortless, their banter is consistently entertaining and watching them grow individually while slowly finding their rhythm together makes their romance deeply satisfying and rewarding at the end.
Overall Dom-Com was a thoroughly enjoyable read that balanced heat, heart, and humour perfectly. Rae and Grant’s story is full of sizzling chemistry, playful banter and tender moments that make the romance feel both exciting and genuine. The office-meets-club setting adds an extra layer of fun, giving the story a unique twist that kept me wanting more from start to finish. While there were a few moments I wished were explored a little deeper, the book’s charm and warmth won over my heart in no time at all making this a definite must read from me!

An irresistible collision of dominance, deadlines, and an extremely inconvenient desire.
All Rae Jensen has to do is walk through the door. Inside the club is everything she’s wanted but was afraid to ask for: a ridiculously hot, brooding Dom with a sharp jawline, sexy forearms, and a low voice that sends goosebumps along her skin when he says “People here call me the General.” For one night, she can forget the stress and her endless responsibilities . . . and just be a saucy little sub, no questions asked.
It’s been a while since Grant Bowman met someone like Rae. Although he’s an experienced Dom, he doesn’t do newbies, especially ones who are such a sweet distraction. But one night couldn’t possibly hurt—until the General discovers they’ll be working together IRL at his new consulting job. Now what started as control is turning into the kind of chaos that destroys careers. But there’s no safe word for falling in love…
