Every Little Thing by Marie Force: Grayson is looking forward to living back in Butler with his family. He’s ready for a slower pace after living and working in Boston. He’s moved back just in time for the holidays and he’s looking forward to spending time with all of his extended family. He plans to open up his own law practice and needs to look for his office space.

Emma is thrilled to spend the holidays with her sister in Butler. It’s a nice break to get out of New York City and to have so many people willing to help out with her adorable daughter, Simone. Emma has dedicated her life to being the best mom she could and to make sure her daughter wouldn’t feel the loss of not having a father.

During the holiday festivities, Emma and Grayson have a chance to talk. They find an instant connection that neither expected. Talking to each other is so easy and confidences are revealed. Their easy rapport makes them wonder if anything more might be worth pursuing, in spite of the significant distance.

“Even if I asked you not to?”
“If you asked me not to, I’d let you walk away, but I’d always be sorry I didn’t try harder to convince you to stay.”
“I have to go home on Friday.” Three more days. That’s all they had.

Emma’s holiday vacation becomes a vacation to remember in all aspects, but both Emma and Grayson are very well aware of the time ticking down until Emma and Simone have to leave. It seems like more than just a vacation romance, but a long-distance relationship seems so impossible. Grayson especially wasn’t looking for a family after being responsible for helping to raise his own siblings.

“I’ve decided that something that feels this good can’t be treated lightly. I want to run with it, and I hope you’ll run with me.”
She raised her free hand to her chest. “My heart is racing.”
“Mine, too, sweetheart.”

Every Little Thing is sexy, heartwarming, and romantic. Marie Force continues to entertain by creating stories that capture your attention from the beginning and providing updates on the characters you already love. Ms. Force provided entertaining characters with plenty of good-natured ribbing amongst the family. Every Little Thing can be read as a standalone in the Green Mountain and Butler, Vermont series. Fans of Kimberly Lang and LuAnn McLane will enjoy Every Little Thing.

I love books that have the prospect of holiday romances/long distance relationships! As that’s how me and my Fiance started our relationship. Good review, I might check this out. Do you have any other book suggestions with a similar theme?
