Faster by Andie J. Christopher: Cece is used to the fast paced, cut throat world of formula 1 racing, what she did not expect though was to be betrayed by the one person that was supposed to always have her back, her husband Ethan… So what is a girl to do? Well in Cece’s case its pretty simple, seek comfort in the arms of Ethans number one rival Luca. The only problem with this being Luca is not ready to let go of Cece without a fights, soon the track isn’t the only thing heating up as these three find themselves in an interesting position. Meanwhile as the only girl on the circuit Micaela knows that she has to work twice as hard to prove that she is as good as the boys, but her forbidden feelings for the team principal threaten to over turn everything that she has worked so hard to achieve. Not one to shy away from a challenge, Micaela is determined to go after her man even if things get a bit risky… While everyone is trying to figure out their love lives, press officer Paola is desperately trying to wrangle reckless driver and playboy Brent. Her mission is simple reform the wild boy of F1, the only problem being the feelings she is starting to develop for the very charismatic Brent… With three very different romances, a wild race track and no shortage of drama the question is who will find love fastest?

I loved this book! Faster was definitely more than I had expected, going in I had expected fast cars, a bit of drama and some romance but gosh we got so much more, we did’t just get one romance but three! We get to follow the adventures of three very different couples as they try to navigate the race track, their feelings and loads of steamy drama! Christopher has done a brilliant job in crafting this edgy, entertaining and completely captivating multilayered romance centred around the world of F1 drivers and I loved every single moment! Also the cover was just perfection, I loved the polaroids giving a tease of what is to come.

I wasn’t to sure how it would be following three very different story arcs in one book but Christopher has given each couple their own space to shine and thrive and steal a bit of our hearts as we follow them in their messy journey. There was no denying the magnetic pull between Cece and Luca, these two while both made mistakes just simply could not stay away from each other. I loved the tension and angsty element to their story and really getting to see them bulldoze all obstacles that came in there way. These two were definitely endgame. Then we got the race princess Micaela, I really loved her character. Not only was she giving total girl boss vibes but I loved that she stood toe to toe with the boys on the race track. As for her forbidden relationship with Liam, well this was just steamy and delicious. I would have liked a bit more time with this couple. And lastly we have the playboy and the fixer. I loved the light, fun and silly element that ran through the connection between Paola and Brent. There was something very cute and playful about this couple that I liked.

I will be honest, I didn’t think that I would enjoy the actually race world itself that much but gosh did I find myself drawn into the thrill of race weekends and the high energy and tension that came with the racing world. The high tension world full of race politics and media frenzy played the perfect backdrop for our very different love stories. With sharp banter, slow burn tension and enough steamy to keep the windows fogged up Faster was so much more than I had expected!

Overall Faster was the perfect blend of high octane drama, whirlwind romance and messy but loveable characters. This book is a total must read!

When people drive and play this hard and fast, three interconnected couples discover that love comes with a risk.

After Cece finds her Formula 1 driver husband, Ethan, cheating, she turns to his alpha racing rival, Luca, for an intimate kind of solace. It’s exactly what she needs. But Ethan isn’t letting her go. And what happens between the three of them is scandalous enough to set the track on fire.

Micaela is the only female driver with a spot on the grid. One She has it bad for the team principal—who happens to be her ex’s dad. He’s older, powerful, sexy, and definitely off limits. But Micaela isn’t the kind of woman to step away from a challenge. In fact, she craves it.

Press officer Paola’s biggest problem is softening the image of Brent, a spoiled playboy driver who’s full of swagger, attitude, and an irresistible hate-to-love-him appeal. It’s Paola’s job to keep him in line, even if she has to bribe him with kisses to do it.

Strap yourself in. The stakes are high and the heat is scalding.
