Fight-for-MeFight for Me by Jessica Linden sucks you in immediately with its non-stop action, fiery characters, and suspenseful plot.

Natalie hates her life and the way her father controls her life so she decides to run away. Her family is influential and wealthy, so of course her bodyguards are going to be on to her. When one of the men catch up to her, things get physical and Natalie acts in self-defense. Her first thought after processing the situation is to go to the cops. But life is full of gray areas and you never know who can trust. So she depends on Knox to get them through this. From the moment Knox saw Natalie, he became her protector. They connected very quickly yet intensely.

“For years, it’d been him against the world. Now within moments of meeting this woman, he was throwing his lot in with hers. Deep in his gut though, he knew he wouldn’t be okay walking away from her.”

Knox is running from is own troubles, as well. X, is the man who runs the underground fighting ring where Knox fights. This guy is bad news and sends his men looking for Knox and since there is a reward out for anyone who finds Natalie, he’s looking for her too. Now, Knox has a hefty price on his head making their situation much more complicated. Knox and Natalie have their work cut out for them trying to hide, not only from her father, but also X, but one thing is for sure, these two are aren’t giving up.

“I don’t want you going anywhere without me,” Knox said fiercely. “You’re mine to protect. I will defend you with everything I have.”

Knox is extremely protective over Natalie and he has no intention of letting her go. I loved Knox. He’s a total Alpha male that would lay down his life to protect her, even though he’s only just met her. As for Natalie, she’s smart, determined, and wants to protect Knox as much as he wants to protect her. Their chemistry is instant and the bond they’ve formed is unbreakable.

Overall, Fight For Me is a very enjoyable read full of passion and intrigue.

Natalie couldn’t spend another day under her father’s lock and key. Raised to be the perfect picture of wealth and sophistication, she detests the dark, ugly side of her father’s greed. Refusing to be held captive by her life a moment longer, she escapes his fortress – and runs right into the arms of the strongest, most dangerous, most desirable man she’s ever met. As instant attraction leads to explosive passion, Natalie finds she cannot leave his side.
