In Flirting with the Doc of Her Dreams by Janice Lynn, Nurse Beth Taylor has had a crush on Dr. Eli Randolph even since she joined the hospital. He is the ideal man and the starring hero of her fantasies. But Eli has no idea who Beth is, even though they work in the same hospital!
Beth’s had quite enough rejection for one lifetime and is convinced that she is not the perfect woman for a man like Eli. Then, thanks to an accidental risqué text message, suddenly Eli knows exactly who Beth is—and what she wishes she could do with him! Soon she’s flirting like crazy with the doc of her dreams, and she’s about to discover that sometimes reality is better than her imagination….
I loved the whole romance starting with a text concept and it was fun to read a different and unique premise. Sexting forms a large portion of the story and the majority of the conversations the main characters have are through texts.
Initially, I enjoyed their flirty and teasing chats but after a while it got a little tedious and I wished they would connect face to face more than bond through technology. Especially when they worked in the same hospital. Eli is a sexy and charismatic hero who is easy to like due to his relaxed personality. Beth is a very insecure heroine and though she has reasons for being the same, her insecurities and low confidence on being Eli’s girlfriend till the end was frustrating. The medical details are satisfying but not in the amount I generally like.
Overall, Flirting with the Doc of Her Dreams by Janice Lynn is a well written medical romance with a new and different concept.

It started with a text…
Dr. Eli Randolph is nurse Beth Taylor’s ultimate fantasy man. Gorgeous, kind, talented—he’s ideal! Apart from the fact he doesn’t know she exists…and Beth’s had quite enough rejection for one lifetime.
Then, thanks to an accidental risqué text message, suddenly Eli knows exactly who Beth is—and what she wishes she could do with him! Soon she’s flirting like crazy with the doc of her dreams, and she’s about to discover that sometimes reality is better than her imagination….

Good review. Still undecided about reading it because I’m afraid the heroine would aggravate me to much. 🙂

The heroine can be frustrating at times but the reason why she is like that is depicted well…I hope she does not trouble you much if you do decide to read this one..Thanks for reading and commenting 🙂
