Hired Girlfriend, Pregnant Fiancée? by Nina Milne: Sometimes it is about being in the right place at the right time and then being willing to make a jump.

Gabby Johnson wasn’t sure what came over her. Was it the old high school teenager in her? Was it the outfit that put her in a different mind set? Was it realizing she didn’t want to stand out by not stepping in? Whatever it was she was outside the abbey in a bunny suit kissing her high school idol and crush. Wow, what a feeling?

Zander Grosvenor didn’t remember much about Gabby, but he needed air. Now he needed her lips. It had been a really long time since he had felt like this. Why now? Why when his head was so all over the place and when he didn’t need or want anyone in his life?

Both Gabby and Zander were content with their lives, neither had anything too serious going on, and both wanted to make their families happy. So when a situation arises where they can make everyone happy and no one gets hurt, why bother to think about it? Except if they had they might have realized some one is very certainly going to get hurt.

This is a really good read. It’s a steady novel without a lot of heat (all closed door), that shows that while it is good to think of others there are times you have to look out for you. Ms. Milne has done a wonderful job in her characters allowing the reader to learn lessons from them without them becoming dull or staid. The plot flows well and it isn’t overly wordy. The people descriptors are very well done allowing the reader to get to know every person who plays a role. This is well worth picking up to add a dash of romance into your life.
