The stunning cover of His Innocent for One Spanish Night by Carol Marinelli represents the beautiful flamenco dance, also an analogy for the delicious drama within.

Sweet and innocent in every way, Emily leaves her rotten ex-fiancée to take a up a once in a life time career opportunity in stunning Spain. Emily is alike a flower which blossoms when in the right environment. Alejandro has has a rotten ex fiancée but in brilliant Carol Marinelli style, she’s still lurking. Alejandro isn’t looking for love and relationship but he’s keen to explore the attraction Emily and he have. Their easy banter and interactions, along with the stunning location and beautiful Spanish words, make this an enjoyable read.

His Innocent for One Spanish Night by Carol Marinelli gives me old school vibes and I loved it. There’s a family dynasty, there’s dastardly characters, there’s a beautifully sweet heroine and then there’s Alejandro, not one to settle down but is completely side swiped by Emily. There’s a stunning vineyard and there’s a thrilling conclusion when Emily stands up to Alejandro’s brother, hero of book 2. I very much enjoyed this light and entertaining dramatic read.

Alej’s desire for Emily is held at bay solely by his belief she’s too naïve for someone so cynical. Yet the innocent challenges his assumption at every turn…until one passionate encounter is irresistible. The trouble is, now Alej knows exactly how electric they are together…
