In Hold on Tight by Serena Bell, Jake Taylor is an Army Ranger who has been fighting for his country for the past 8 years. Now Jake has returned stateside wounded and fighting his own personal demons. One thing Jake didn’t expect upon his return is to learn he has a 8 year-old son he never knew existed.

Mira Shipley was 18 when she learned that she was pregnant. Only she cold not find the soldier who fathered her child one night, so she put college on hold while she made a good life for her son. Now she is determined to be more that Sam’s mother, her parent’s daughter nor Jake’s girl.
