How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan: Things are starting to look up for Grace Travis, with interior design school almost complete and having saved up enough from all of her odd jobs, it’s finally time for Grace to move into the cute little house that her grandparents had willed to her. Fully ready to knuckle down and redo the old house to her own taste Grace definitely did not factor in one major speed bump in the form of her annoyingly good looking neighbour or for him to be so determined to buy her house!

Noah is determined to prove to everyone that he is more than just her father’s shadow, starting with redoing his very own new West Coast house. All he needs now is to convince his stubborn neighbour to sell her house, after all everyone has a price, right? When his usual tactics don’t work Noah decides to take a different approach, maybe being her friend will actually soften her up to sell. However when his big break though into the West Coast market hinges on working with Grace, Noah has no choice but to rethink everything he has ever known. The question is with all that demo have these two been able to break down any heart walls?

“She felt like she had a hundred heartbeats and he was controlling every one.”

How To Love Your Neighbor had me sold right from the catchy cover my interest only grew once I read the synopsis of his hilarious enemies turned lovers meets HGTV show come to life. Not only did this book tick off two of my favorite tropes but the writing style was so easy to follow and get lost in. I absolutely loved both our main characters, the entire sunshine meets grump vibe worked perfectly for Grace and Noah, and gosh getting to see them battle their mutually attention was pure gold!

Grace was such a cute character, I loved that she was so completely down to Earth and that she was genuinely a nice person. I loved the relationship that she had with Monty and that even though she had been looking for family all this time she had always had her own makeshift little family unit. The chemistry between Noah and Grace was just fire! I loved the little bets that they had going on and that back and forth banter that was laced throughout the novel.

“It’s what you make others see. You make me see things I never imagined, Grace.”

Noah really grew on me the more we got to know him as the book progressed. I really liked that he was just trying to step out of his fathers shadow and find his own place and even though he came of as the bad guy he was actually a really great guy. I absolutely loved that Grace was the reality check that he needed and that she never backed down. I loved the progression of their relationship and that it was more of a slow burn romance.

How To Love Your Neighbor is a really cute enemies to lovers romcom that will have you wanting this book to be turned into a Hallmark movie!
