In Kept at the Argentine’s Command by Lucy Ellis, Lulu Lachaille’s Kept-at-the-Argentines-Command1secret agoraphobia won’t stop her from attending her best friend’s big day. She feels utterly out of her depth, but that isn’t the reason her heart is pounding…

The cynical best man, Argentinian polo god Alejandro du Crozier, hates weddings…until he gets inconveniently stranded in the Scottish Highlands with the alluring maid of honor!

A well written and realistic romance which portrays the struggles of a heroine trying to trust and love another while dealing with agoraphobia and severe stress.

Lulu is not an easy heroine because of her phobia. She is difficult and unreasonable and given her circumstances, I thought it was understandable. Alejandro is a sexy hero who is the perfect person for Lulu. He had great intensity and patience to deal with the heroine. I liked the way he helped Lulu.

The romance was passionate and emotional due to the amazing chemistry the characters shared. Overall, Kept at the Argentine’s Command by Lucy Ellis is a refreshingly different and enjoyable romance which I liked very much.

The temptation inexperienced Lulu presents is too much for Alejandro to refuse. But du Crozier is determined to keep Lulu under his command, so he whisks her away to Buenos Aires until he is sure that their recklessness hasn’t left lasting consequences…
