Love Language By Emma Hart: There are a lot of things that a Lady of her standing should be doing such as attending fine afternoon tea parties, helping the local village people or finding a suitable husband, however pottering around the estates vast gardens or hiding her studies from her father are definitely not what Lady Gabriella Hastings should be doing! The last thing Gabi needs is to find herself stuck alone at Arrowwood during a torrential storm with non other than the hottie head gardener Miles. Now any other time this would sound like the start to a cute Hallmark movie except Miles can’t seem to stand Gabi or having her in his gardens. However somewhere between the crazy storm, loss of power, two crazy goats and one eccentric aunt things begin to change between Miles and Gabi but will these two be able to mesh together their two very different worlds?

“Every nerve ending in my body exploded. The feeling of his rough palms against my cheeks, of his firm chest under my fingertips, of his lips slowly yet firmly moving across mine was the thing of dreams. It had to be illegal for a kiss to feel this good.”

Emma Hart can take my money any day of the week! This lady aways creates pure brilliance and this is more than apparent with her latest romcom Love Language. I ate up every single page of this hilariously cute aristocratic romance set in the modern world. This book was the perfect balance of steamy forbidden romance mixed in with load of laugh out loud moments.

One of my favorite things about all of Harts books is that she always has a knock out group of characters and Love Language well and truly proves this point. Both Gabi and Miles were absolutely amazing to follow. I have to say that Gabi mare one amazing female lead. She was so completely different to what one would assume a royal would be like, I also loved that she was so completely herself and embraced her love for nature and gardening. I really liked watching her stand up to Miles when he automatically put her in a princess box. It was also really nice getting to see her stand up and bring the family together and seeing her interact with her father.

“Miles! For God’s sake, are you going to kiss me or are you going to keep talking until I freeze to death out here?”

As for our hero Miles, there is just something about a grouchy hero that always draws me in and steals my heart. I loved following Miles as he grouched and protected his greenhouse and gardens, however it was getting to see him try to deny and fight off his feelings for Gabi that well and truly won me over. But gosh once these two got together it was just the cutest, I loved then as a couple and the way they teamed up to bring everyone together.

“I don’t want to talk to the media, Henry . I want to look after my goats without those heathens wondering if Queen Victoria or Prince Albert have escaped to the public gardens again.”

I am a huge fan of the wacky goodness that secondary characters bring to a good story and Love Language really had that in spades, firstly can we take a moment just to talk about aunt Cat? Oh this Lady was just a gem, with her over the top behavior and determination to create a petting zoo on the estate! Oh the goats! I love a good animal sidekick and these goats needed more book time!! We need more crazy adventures of the royal goats please! Also my heart just melted at Arthur and Cats lowkey secret romance.

Love Language was the perfect start to what promises to be an amazing new series by Hart. As with all of her books you will find yourself laughing non stop while rooting for this couple to find their way to a perfectly cute happily ever after! I absolutely can not wait to see what Hart has planned for with Adelaide’s story.
