In Love Songs for the Road by Farrah Taylor, Ryan Evans needs the job as a nanny to pay for her college education. Not only that, but it will also take her away from her ex and all her so-called friends who not only rub her ex leaving her but also how her ex-best-friend and him have more sparks in her face.

LSOTRMarcus Troy loves his music, but not as much as he loves his kids. He has finally gotten to have his kids for a longer period of time during tour, but if he wants to fight and be able to prove to the court and his ex that he deserves joint custody he needs to find the right nanny for them.

When Ryan shows up for the interview, she finds Marcus tied and on the floor in only his underwear. She doesn’t know if she has walked in the middle of something or if his lover left him like that. At first she doesn’t know what to do, but Marcus has put his finger over his lips to shush her and his assistant when they walked in, now he looks to be waiting for something. After a few more seconds two little kids run out of the closet to attack their father until he claims mercy, Ryan can only see that he really cares about his children and is comfortable with them.

She has always believed that children are easy to be with, wanting to be loved, hugged, cared for and fed, all within a routine in which they thrive. While parents and adults hide what they really want and don’t always want to spend time with their children, something that she learns soon enough doesn’t apply to Marcus.

But the chemistry between them can only complicate things. For as much as they can talk to each other honestly without having to be on guard all the time, their relationship while innocent at first, can be judged and deemed inappropriate, ruining any chances Marcus may have to finally have joint custody of his kids. As for Ryan, she wants a PHD in child development, and she believes that any inappropriate actions may be judged to the point that she could be dropped from her program.

But love is not as simple, and with Marcus’s ex-wife and an infatuated young woman trying to get their way in everything, things will only be more complicated with lies and rumors running amok and ruining their only chance at having the HEA they both want. But unless they are both willing to fight and give it chance, Marcus and Ryan will lose what they both learnt to be true love and a real family. But like always in a good love story, with a little will and enough strength to fight they can always have their HEA.

I loved this story, it was very down to earth. If you want a fun, entertaining and sweet romance read, don’t miss Love Songs for the Road by Farrah Taylor.

A rock star. The nanny. A love that could rock their world.

The only thing rock star Marcus Troy loves more than making music is his kids. So finding just the right nanny to take on tour with them is important—as is proving to his ex he deserves joint custody. Falling for his employee wouldn’t just be fodder for the paparazzi: it could ruin everything.

Too bad the perfect nanny turns out to be beautiful, vibrant Ryan Evans. Ryan’s never left her small Montana town before, so she jumps at the chance to see the country. And as much as accidental fame doesn’t gel with shy Ryan, what does is her relationship with her capricious, smoking-hot, shockingly good dad of a boss. Marcus is nothing like what she expected. But when the whole world’s watching them, will life in the spotlight be too hot to handle?
