Mistle Text:’Twas the Text Before Christmas .. by Whitney Dineen & Melanie Summers: After the tragic death of both her sister and brother-in-law, Holly is tasked with caring for her four year old niece Faith. With having to give up on her dreams of being an international flight attendant Holly is trying her best to make ends meet for both herself and Faith but with her online travel agent gig not really paying enough and the tuition for Faith’s fancy private school almost due, Holly really needs a cash boost!

So when her best friend sets her up with the ultimate gig doing her snobby rich boss’ Christmas shopping, Holly grabs it with both hands. Fully set on doing the best job that she can while earning some much needed extra cash the last thing Holly expected was to develop feelings for scrooge himself!

Archibald Harrington is well on his way to taking top spot in the family business if only he could convince his Godfather that he is ready to settle down! However settling down is the furthest thing from Archie’s mind which is why he enlists the help of a personal shopper to butter up his family over the holidays. The only thing being Archie didn’t factor in this shopping elf to want him to be so hands on in the entire gifting process or for the new feelings that start to brew!

This writing duo is fast becoming one of my favorites! I have being absolutely loved this cute accidental text series and all the cute little romances that came along with them. Holly and Archie just brought it all together with this super cute slow burn festive romcom.

Archie was such a great hero once we got to see his true soft side. However it did take a while to warm up to this work crazy scrooge. I loved the connection that he formed with both Holly and Faith, seeing him with Faith was just the cutest! But the real star of this book has to be Holly. Not only was she a great female character but I loved her never give up attitude. I really liked that even though life was tough and making end meet were tight Holly just wanted to give her niece the best life that she could. Her ability to pull up her socks without sitting and wallowing in self pity make her so enduring and relatable.

Mistle Text is such a cute and easy fast read that will have you rooting for these three to have a picture perfect happy ending.
