Never Let Me Go by Kianna Alexander: Maxwell Devers seems to have a well scheduled life. He has a very successful business and is competing for a big project for the city. He has his fraternity brothers who are still extremely close and support each other. He had child with a girlfriend, but they split after he asked her to leave the military and she refused. He sees his daughter fairly regularly, but her main caretaker is a member of his ex’s family while she is deployed overseas. A sudden stroke by the caretaker leaves Maxwell as baby Sasha’s sole responsibility. Maxwell’s work keeps him from everyday childcare, so he decides to hire a nanny.

Yvonne Markham has just signed up with a company that provides nannies to upscale clients. She wants to use the extra money she will make to start her own daycare center. This has been a longtime dream of hers. When Yvonne meets Maxwell she is concerned about staying professional because he is extremely handsome. Both Yvonne and Maxwell are close to their families, but are there deeply hidden secrets? The author reveals both the love and family stories.I loved the interaction between the fraternity brothers. It is wonderful to be able to build a long term bond with college friends. They are still able to have fun, but deal with changes as some of them settle down and marry.

Never Let Me Go is the third in The Southern Gentlemen series. I didn’t have any trouble following it. It would probably help your appreciation of the characters to read the first two novels, too.Kianna Alexander is a new to author. She has been a very prolific writer. I hope to read more of her charming tales in the near future.
