Once Upon a Winter Wedding by Jeannie Watt: Stevie Evans is very excited that her best friend,Kara, is getting married and wants her to help plan the wedding. It’s more than a little daunting. First, there is only four weeks before the big day and second Stevie is expected to work with Kara’s older brother, Brant. Stevie and Brant have mainly avoided each other over the years after Brant accused Stevie of trying to lead Kara down the wrong path in high school. Stevie has calmed down and the two of them only have to work together for a month.

Brant is supposedly on a vacation from his regular job and is spending some time restoring the family tree farm that may be used for other venues. It will work out for the wedding location with some serious hard work and dealing with Idaho’s winter.

Stevie and Brant find working together on the wedding is not as difficult as they had thought. They feel a new attraction, but are afraid to get too close since Brant will have to go back to work full-time and Stevie hopes to get a job at the high school. Is there a chance for romance to bloom?

I loved everything about this delightful novel. The hero and heroine deal with real life issues and know how to respect each other. There are lots of interesting and sometimes quirky secondary characters, including a horse name Bob.

The setting in Idaho was new to me and works out just right to give a winter wonderland atmosphere.

The love story was a sweet one that is always refreshing for me. I have not read Holly, Idaho #1 yet. I will have to put it on my TBR pile soon. I know I will love it.

Can opposites attract and plan the perfect winter wedding?

Free-wheeling Stevie Evans is thrilled when her best friend announces she’s getting married and promises to help, never imagining she’d play wedding planner with her bestie’s uptight brother, Brant. She and Brant clashed several years ago and she’s avoided him ever since. But this time she can’t run or hide, and the buzz of attraction is stronger than ever.

Brant Gilroy’s meticulous life plan takes an unexpected turn when he hits a career bump on the same day as his sister’s wedding announcement. She wants to get married at the family tree farm, which he’s been restoring. Brant’s determined to make her day special despite his uncertain future, although he dreads working with her best friend—a woman who’s his complete opposite. So why can’t he get her out of his head?

As Brant and Stevie work together, Brant begins to wonder if they have more in common than they suspected. But how can he convince her that opposites can sometimes make the perfect team?
