In One Night, Twin Consequences by Annie O’Neil, When Dr. Matteo Torres invites nurse Harriet Monticello to work with orphans in Buenos Aires, her head says yes! It’s something she’s always wanted to do…although her heart is wary of the irresistible off-limits doc. Shy Harriet isn’t used to taking anything for herself, and yet before they board the plane for Argentina, the chemistry between them combusts and they give in to just one night together…
But their night of recklessness isn’t without consequences. And now Harriet has nine months to melt this brooding doctor’s heart!
A well written romance with two very adorable characters and an well constructed story line with nice medical details. Matteo and Harriet are both very generous characters who always put others before their selves. They both have been through a lot and deserved the beautiful happily ever after they got with each other.
Harriet is a shy, sensible heroine who has a hard time saying no to anyone. Matteo is someone who has gone through loss and does not envision any happy endings for himself. Instead he concentrates on making others happy. The romance is emotional filled with adorable moments and entertaining dialogues.
I loved Matteo and Harriet’s interactions and their chemistry made their story even more believable.Overall, One Night, Twin Consequences by Annie O’Neil is a sweet emotional romance with adorable characters and I can’t wait to read about Harriet’s twin sister in the next book!
