In Redeeming the CEO Cowboy (The Slades of Sunset Ranch #4) by Charlene Sands, former rodeo champion Casey Thomas is now a successful CEO of a construction company. He is living next door to Susanna Hart who is busy running her Sweet Susie’s pastry business and raising her two-year-old cousin. Susanna lost her virginity to Casey ten years ago and then he left town without any backward glance. Now he is back after so many years and Susanna is trying to be not be affected by his return, especially now when he is her neighbor.
Casey still feels guilty for taking advantage of his little sister’s best friend. A helping hand is just what her business—and his conscience—need. But guilt isn’t his only motivation. Casey’s got a sweet tooth for Susie. And the more she resists, the sweeter it gets!
Redeeming the CEO Cowboy by Charlene Sands is a well written romance about second chances. Casey and Susanna’s (Susie) story starts from friendship when Casey lends a helping hand to Susie’s business but soon their sizzling attraction which they are trying to ignore, gets in the way of their friendship. There was tons of emotions in the story and that made the story an enjoyable one. Both Casey and Susie are well developed characters and it is easy to understand them. This was a simple plot told in an enjoyable story. My only complaint is that the story was too predictable and there was nothing new to discover.
Overall, Redeeming the CEO Cowboy is a well written romance about starting over and finding HEA with your first love.

Ten years ago = ancient history…right?
So what if former rodeo champion turned construction mogul Casey Thomas is back…living right next door? Susanna Hart is busy running her Sweet Susie’s pastry business and raising her two-year-old cousin. Why pay any attention to the man who took her virginity ten years ago, then left town?
Casey still feels guilty for taking advantage of his little sister’s best friend. A helping hand is just what her business—and his conscience—need. But guilt isn’t his only motivation. Casey’s got a sweet tooth for Susie. And the more she resists, the sweeter it gets!

Second chance and best friend’s brother. This sounds like my kind of book. Thanks for the review, Ipshita.
