In S.E.C.R.E.T. Revealed (Secret #3) by L. Marie Adeline, News anchor Solange Faraday is a woman in her prime professionally but feels as though she’s given up on her social life while trying to balance her career and raise her ten year old son Gus. After her divorce years ago, Solange attempted to stay social but has since let things slide. So when the opportunity comes along to join the group S.E.C.R.E.T., to explore her deepest desires, she knows she’d be a fool not to give it a try. The steps prove to be challenging, letting go of her SECRET-Revealedinhibitions has never been easy for Solange. But it might be the key to finding both the balance she craves as well as the love she didn’t know she’d been longing for.

Ten Steps:
1 ~ Surrender  2 ~ Courage
3 ~ Trust  4 ~ Generosity
5 ~ Fearlessness  6 ~ Confidence
7 ~ Curiosity  8 ~ Bravery
9 ~ Exuberance  10 ~ Liberation

Cassie Robichaud’s involvement in S.E.C.R.E.T. has changed her life in so many positive ways. She’s become more self-assured, taking charge of herself both personally and professionally, and she’s found the love of a wonderful man, Will Foret. But Cassie’s membership with the group is ultimately what pushes Will away, just when she thought they had found their HEA. She decides not to cut ties with S.E.C.R.E.T. and hopes Will can get past his clouded views on what they do there. Cassie again gets caught up in the passion that swirls between herself and Jesse, another member of the group, yet she knows they aren’t right for each other. In the meantime, she focuses on her work praying that given some time, Will might decide their relationship is worth another chance.

“Why not? It’s just sex, right? That’s the easy part. It’s love that vexes.”

S.E.C.R.E.T. Revealed is the conclusion to the erotic Secret trilogy where women become empowered in their sex lives, one Step at a time.

This was the first book I’ve read in the series and I was a bit lost at first, figuring out what S.E.C.R.E.T. was really all about. I eventually picked up the gist of how the group helped women and how it all worked, but I would recommend reading the first two books before jumping in like I did. Still, I enjoyed L. Marie Adeline’s writing style…especially the uber sexy love scenes. I think, because they were based on the fantasies of S.E.C.R.E.T.’s clients, the scenes were a bit voyeuristic which, to me, only added to the eroticism.

I don’t know that the idea of a different man leading the fantasy for each of the ten steps would work for everyone, but it certainly was an intriguing part of the process. That fact comes up in one of Cassie’s conversations when her own past with S.E.C.R.E.T. comes to light, and the double-standard of men being able to have casual sex but not women is discussed. Definitely a valid point yet one with a lot of stigma attached. But that’s what I found interesting with this novel. It breaks down the social barriers between what is deemed acceptable and just letting go and giving in to our fantasies. Reading about Solange’s journey, I could understand pretty much every emotion she experienced and loved how her story ended, as well as Cassie’s. *happy sigh*

I think you’ll find that S.E.C.R.E.T. Revealed is an erotic story with a unique plot, scorching sex scenes, and it will be easy for most women to connect with emotionally.
