Say You’re Mine by Layla Hagen: Brayden Clarke has long come to terms with the knowledge that dating and stardom don’t mix well together. After his last relationship goes up in flames Brayden has learnt that most women only want him for his money and fame which is exactly why he does not date. That is until their band manager brings in Isabella Gallagher to help bridge the gap between the band and their fans. There is just something about the beautiful Isabella that calls to Brayden’s heart so much so that he is going out of his way to just a few moments with her, it also doesn’t hurt that Isabella doesn’t look at him as a star but just a regular guy.

Montana girl Isabella is just starting her life in New York with her masters in counselling she is all set to take on the big city, make new friends and see new places. So when she lands herself the unusual job of helping bridge the gap between a band and their fans she is all for the challenge. She just never expect one of those people to be superstar hottie musician Brayden. But will Brayden be able to convince Isabella to take a chance on him or will this just be a short lived romance?

I love a good musical romance and this was definitely a different take on this trope, one that I highly enjoyed! I loved the sassy banter that Brayden and Isabella. Their steamy chemistry was evident right from their first meeting. It was super cute getting to see these two find their way to their happily ever after.

I loved that Brayden was not your normal over the top bratty rock star and that he respected and appreciated everyone that he worked with. I really like that both Brayden and Isabella took their work life very seriously and didn’t let their attraction overshadowed their work. I absolutely adored Isabella with all her sassy comments and well of optimism. These two played of each other perfectly with Isabella helping pushing Braydon out of his comfort zone.

Layla Hagen did not disappoint with this sizzling romance that had me flipping the pages frantically wanting to know what happens with Isabella and Brayden. This is definitely one you should add to your TBR!

QOTD: What is your favorite romance novel that has a musical character?
