Stealing Her by Rachel Van Dykem Bridge was always the stronger twin who never cared to earn their father’s approval and he protected Julian as much as he could. Being separated from his twin was gut-wrenching, but both went on to lead separate lives. Bridge is sexy, smart, determined, and loyal to his mom. He does everything he can to make his mom’s life easier, including working a few jobs.

Isobel is caring, generous, smart, and sweet. She fell for Julian and they planned their life together while in the mostly carefree days of college. She trained to be a nurse, but she’s now trying to fit the mold for the fiancée and future wife of a CEO after Julian takes over the family company.

Isobel no longer recognizes herself, Julian, or the life they are leading. When Julian is in a serious accident, she’s shocked and unsure of what comes next. Bridge has no regrets over not having contract with his father, but he can’t refuse the chance to help the brother he once swore he’d always protect.

She tilted her head to the side. “You’re acting funny.”
“Again, I almost died. How would you act if you had one day with the most beautiful woman in the world?
“Now I know you’re high,” she grumbled..
“Izzy? Please?”

Bridge agreeing to step in as Julian brings complications he never saw coming. While they are identical twins, they have led very different lives and he has to face what he’s learning about the man his twin has become. He also has to deceive Isobel no matter what. The problem is that this new Julian is not the Julian that Isobel has been engaged to. Things get complicated very quickly as Isobel questions the differences she can’t ignore and Bridge is falling for the one woman off-limits to him.

I wondered if she saw the lie.
Izzy’s lips parted. She licked the bottom one and exhaled softly. “You’re going to break my heart, aren’t you?”
And because I didn’t want to be him, because I couldn’t stand to hear the lie fall from my lips.
I kissed her cheek and whispered a weak “Yes.”

Stealing Her has lust, lies, scandal, betrayal, and forbidden romance. Rachel Van Dyken crafted an engaging story with complicated characters. Ms. Van Dyken brings into this world of money and power and leaves you eager for more. Fans of K.A. Tucker and K.A. Linde will enjoy Stealing Her.
