REVIEW: Tempt the Hookup by Natasha Madison

Tempt the Hookup by Natasha Madison: Luca is quite the workaholic. Outside of working as a lawyer, he pretty much just spends time with his friends and doesn’t really date. Luca is definitely a catch as he is handsome, sexy, charming, romantic, and would commit if he could find the right woman.

Eliahn has just moved back from Paris. She’s a talented and creative interior designer but it was time to move home to have a better support system for her and her son, Aiden. She’s independent, smart, and a great mom.

The last thing Luca wants to do is attend the boss’ party to welcome home his daughter. He’s stunned when the girl from his past happens to be the boss’ daughter. Luca and Eliahn met and had a fling in college that neither have forgotten. The surprises don’t stop there either.

“It’s silly for you to come all the way out here. I think it’s easier if you just meet us there,” I tell him while he walks down the steps and then turns around and smiles at me.
“It’s not out of my way,” he says. I can see him almost smirking, and the little dimple starts to come out. “I live next door.”

Luca and Eliahn felt that connection and chemistry immediately. Both are conflicted by all the feelings their unexpected reunion brings up. Luca’s alpha, protective tendencies are at the forefront as he becomes a dedicated father to their son. It is quite the adventure as they navigate shared parenting and their need to be more than friends, neighbors, and co-parents.

“You keep doing that,” I tell him, and he turns halfway up the stairs, Aiden by his side. “You do something and then kiss me walking away.”
“Yeah,” he says, smirking. “You getting used to it yet?”
I put my hand on my hip and glare. “I suggest you get used to it, baby,” he says, and then Aiden laughs.

Tempt the Hookup is a delightful, entertaining, and sexy second chance romance. Natasha Madison provided anticipation, humor, banter, family, friendship, and plenty of heat. Ms. Madison developed a wonderful cast of characters who will make you laugh. Tempt the Hookup can be read as a standalone. Fans of Melissa Foster and J. Daniels will enjoy Tempt the Hookup.

Eliahn
Getting pregnant after a booze cruise hookup was not what any parent wanted to hear, so I picked up my entire life and moved to Paris to start over. Six years later, I was ready to go home.

I was a single mom and the only thing I knew about my son’s dad was his name—Luca. I didn’t need to know anything else.

The universe had other ideas because on our second day back home, the man came crashing back into my life.

Luca
Attending a welcome back party for my boss’s daughter wasn’t how I wanted to spend my Sunday. But walking in and seeing my hookup from a cruise six years ago knocks me on my ass.

It was a weekend of fun and now I’m seeing a pair of eyes, identical to mine, staring right at me. The boy standing next to her is my son.

Now we’re living next door to each other and attempting to co-parent something that would be easy to do if the pull that brought us together wasn’t still there making things more complicated.

For six years she haunted my dreams, now she’s haunting my every waking moment.
I let her get away once, now I want to make her mine.

This time, permanently.

Only one thing left to do. I have to tempt the hookup.
