In Terms of a Texas Marriage by Lauren Canan, Shea Hardin must marry wealthy landowner Terms-of-a-Texas-MarriageAlec Morreston if she wants to save her ranch. She agrees but swears to keep the marriage in name only and nothing more.

But she underestimates the attraction between them. One look at this suave billionaire and Shea knows staying out of Alec’s bed will be the toughest challenge of her life.

Terms of a Texas Marriage by Lauren Canan is a well written marriage of convenience romance with likable characters. A complicated contract brings Alec and Shea together in a marriage of convenience and their strong attraction towards each other, complicates things further.

Shea and Alec are two very different people. Alec is a city guy with a rich and easy lifestyle whose life gets complicated when he is forced to live in a ranch with a heroine who is both spirited and defiant. The characters engage in small battles with each other and try to undo each other to get the ranch but end up in falling in each other.

The pace was a little slow halfway through the story for my taste but overall, this was an enjoyable romance with the right amount of conflicts and passion.
