REVIEW: The Amish Widow’s New Love by Liz Tolsma

The Amish Widow’s New Love by Liz Tolsma is my first time reading a book by Liz Tolsma. It certainly will not be my last! I hope to see more books from her soon!

The Amish Widow’s New Love has within its’ pages a central theme to the Amish way of life- forgiveness. When Elam returns to his community after leaving in shame a few years earlier following an accident, his former girlfriend Naomi is grieving her husbands’ passing and raising her son who has a congenital heart condition.

Naomi and her family blame Elam for the accident that paralyzed her brother. When Elam shows a desire to help raise funds for Naomi’s sons’ surgery, will Naomi and her family be able to show him honest forgiveness? Elam seems dedicated to showing her and her family, and his family, that is he home to stay, and that he regrets his past actions.

I recommend The Amish Widow’s New Love to fellow readers of the Amish and Romance genres. It’s a beautiful “feel good” story!

Naomi Miller can’t believe Elam Yoder’s back in their community after all the pain he caused! Still, the young Amish widow must reunite with her disgraced first love to raise money for her infant son’s surgery. Elam’s remorse seems sincere, as does his commitment to helping Naomi and her baby. Elam’s looking for forgiveness—and a new life with Naomi and her bobbeli by his side.
