The Baby of Their Dreams by Carol Marinelli was a sweet, emotional and well written romance about two lost souls finally finding love and meaning through each other.
Cat is a sweet, strong and independent heroine who has been through a lot in the past seven years. After the death of her baby boy, she was unable to move on and has spent the last years, grieving. Dom is a widower and is more on the alpha side who I did not grow as fond of as compared to Cathy. He was good but not my ideal hero due to the way he behaved in certain situations.
The romance is about how the main characters connect due to their baby and find love. It was enjoyable but I felt there could be so much more done in their relationship. More aspects of their relationship could be shown instead of making it so one dimensional.
Overall, The Baby of Their Dreams by Carol Marinelli was an enjoyable romance but only for a one time read. Compared to the author’s more spectacular previous reads, this one fell a little short of me.
