The Odds of You by Kate Dramis: Sage has always trusted numbers, well that is until she walked away from the safe life she built to chase her dream of
becoming a novelist. One surprise bestseller later and now she’s stuck. With her second books deadline fast approaching and self doubt breathing down her neck, Sage can’t help but feel a bit lost. But a chance run-in on a flight to Comic Con changes everything… Enter Theo. The frustratingly, charming actor that is far too famous for Sage’s liking. All it takes is one simple misunderstanding to turn into tabloid fuel and before Sage can blink she is been cast as Theo’s leading lady! Pretending should be easy .. Well that would be a whole lot easier if feelings didn’t complicate everything… With expectations closing in on both of them…fans watching, deadlines looming…denying their connection feels like the sensible choice… but saying something isn’t real doesn’t make it disappear…
The Odds of You was just the perfect blend of a chance love story, whirlwind romance, fame and the slow burn pull of will these two actually make it work. I loved the way Dramis delivers a romance that feels tender without being overdone, layered with vulnerability, wit and just enough swoon to make it linger long after the final page.
There was just something about Sage that I instantly loved. She had this very real and raw presence about her character and getting to see her still chase her dreams even in moments that felt taxing just made her feel all the more relatable. What I loved most about Sage is that her growth doesn’t come from suddenly ‘fixing’ herself but from learning to sit with uncertainty, trust her instincts again and accept that success doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful. Theo on the other hand was just effortlessly charming. I loved his dry British charm and the witty retorts he drops throughout the book. But more than this I loved getting to see the Theo beyond the cameras, the thoughtful, patient, and deeply considerate man that just wants to be the support system that Sage needs. The thing I loved the most about Theo was the fact that he never tried to rush or change Sage, he simply wanted to be a part of her journey. It was the quiet moments away from the spot light that really made him stand out.
I loved these two together. Their chemistry wasn’t loud or rushed instead it was built in the quiet moments, through shared conversations, mutual understanding and the comfort of being fully seen. The thing that stood out for me with these two was the fact that Theo never tries to outshine Sage. And Sage never feels like she has to shrink to fit into his world, instead they meet each other at eye level and offer support rather than solutions. Their story was about grand gestures or the big moments but rather about showing up, listening and staying.
I loved reading The Odds Of You, this was the kind of book that balances tenderness with emotional depth, offering more than just a love story. At its heart, it’s about choosing yourself, and allowing someone else to truly choose you too.

Sage Collins knows a thing or two about odds. A year ago, she was a data analyst until she burned it all down to pursue her dream of becoming an author. One whirlwind bestseller and a struggling second book later, and Sage isn’t sure she’ll ever write a novel again.
But then an accidental encounter with an irritating passenger on the flight to Comic Con leaves Sage in an untested position. That passenger is Theo Sharpe: a breakout actor on the cusp of fame. And, unfortunately, the paparazzi have mistaken her for his girlfriend.
Armed with signature British charm and a smile that could tame oceans, Theo wears fame like a well-fit coat…though Sage can see there’s something deeper held in his eyes. But his fans are too involved in the drama, the pressure to deliver the next bestseller is on, and Sage and Theo both must agree there’s nothing between them. They don’t have to acknowledge that saying it doesn’t make it true.
When Sage decides to flee to Scotland to clear her head and write her novel, she expects to find fresh air and the stillness to think. What she doesn’t expect is Theo Sharpe to come back into her life…and how he may be her greatest miscalculation of all.
