In The Surgeon’s Baby Secret by Amber McKenzie, Surgeon Erin Madden life takes an The-Surgeons-Baby-Secretunexpected turn as she falls pregnant from her whirlwind and totally unforgettable romance with Dr. Ryan Callum. But her unexpected pregnancy turns out to be blessing and her daughter soon becomes the whole world for her.

Two years later, and Erin is shocked that Ryan has started work at the same hospital. Things might have ended badly between them, but he still sets Erin’s heart racing. And now it’s only a matter of time before Ryan discovers her baby secret…

The Surgeon’s Baby Secret by Amber McKenzie was a well written romance which took time to find the right pace but once it did, the story turned out to enjoyable.

The beginning parts of the story drag a lot because they give too much information about Ryan and Erin’s previous relationship and the unplanned pregnancy. When the story moves to the present times, it becomes more enjoyable. Erin and Ryan are both likable characters who have to put their past away before they can find their HEA’s. This book is a part of an ongoing series but can be easily read as a standalone. The romance is both passionate and enjoyable with enough medical details.
