The World’s Worst Boyfriend by Erika Kelly: Fin is ever striving for the next great undiscovered trail. He’s become an incredibly popular backwoods snowboarder and other athletes jump at the chance to go on his trips. He is a serious athlete and much sought after for his advice with nutrition, training, and form from a variety of top athletes. He grew up in a tight knit, yet very competitive family, with three older brothers. Fin is loyal, dedicated, and generous with a driving need to prove himself.

Callie is smart, creative, and has spent the last six years avoiding her hometown and Fin as much as possible. After their break up, she threw herself into her education and building a career in art in the mecca of New York City. She’s now buttoned up, well heeled, and with the well-connected and seemingly perfect boyfriend.

Both return home for the wedding of Callie’s brother. Fin has the hopes of reconnecting and finally getting a second chance with the only girl he’s ever loved while Callie just wants to survive the trip, see family, and avoid Fin. Fin still makes her feel everything, including the chemistry that is hotter than ever.

“Don’t you get it? You were my dream. I wasn’t letting go of you. Not for anything.”
Hurt gripped her features, and a tear spilled onto her cheek. “But you did let me go. And so here we are.”

Callie and Fin have an undeniable chemistry that pulls them together despite the past. Fin and Callie were always getting in trouble in their youth and now Fin is stuck doing community service…and helping Callie bring more attention to the meme that is threatening his career. It’s the perfect excuse to get to know the adult version of Callie and win her back.

“You and me.” His casual slouch belied the intensity of his tone. “We’re two particles that got split in half. And no matter how far away you are, I feel you.” He tapped his heart. “In here. You’re my sun. And you could be in New York or on Jupiter, and I’m still going to feel the pull. The closer you are, the stronger the pull.” He shrugged. “It is what it is.”

The World’s Worst Boyfriend is entertaining, with plenty of angst and heat, while also being very timely and real. Erika Kelly taps into the power of social media and realities of heartbreak and need for support. Ms. Kelly created a fun and engaging cast of characters that I’m looking forward to following in the rest of the Bad Boyfriends series. Fans of LuAnn McLane and Scarlett Cole will enjoy The World’s Worst Boyfriend.

Publication: April 3rd 2018 | EK Publishing, LLC | The Bad Boyfriend series #1

From award-winning author Erika Kelly comes her brand new, smoking hot series about four elite athlete brothers raised in the Tetons by their eccentric, billionaire dad and uncle.

Six years ago Fin Bowie made a decision that cost him the love of his life. Now his ex is coming back to town for her brother’s wedding, and he can finally make things right. Except, right before the event, a text he sent goes viral. Overnight, he becomes an international meme. And it’s hard to win your woman back when the whole world’s calling you The World’s Worst Boyfriend.

The last thing on Calliope Bell’s mind is getting back with Fin. Not when her life’s just gone sideways, forcing her to spend the summer in her hometown. She can’t be away from the New York art world this long, so she comes up with the idea to turn the hottest pop culture event of the moment into a museum exhibition.

The two have every intention of avoiding each other—until the county judge sentences Fin to community service…helping her exploit the meme he’s trying to make go away.
