Their White-Hot Christmas by Jules Bennett is the fourth book in the Dynasties: Willowvale series, in which a group of men who worked for Hank as teens received an inheritance from him after his death. In this book, Paxton Hart has inherited a ranch that has seen better days. He’s in real estate and is planning on opening a new office in Spain, but now he has to deal with the ranch. He feels like he owes it to Hank, who was more like family to him than his own, to restore the ranch to its former glory.

Life coach Kira Lee has been sent to the ranch by her best friend as an early Christmas present after she lost her home. It turns out she’s the only guest at the ranch, which is struggling. She runs into Pax as she’s attempting to get a Christmas tree into her cabin, and he reluctantly helps her. She quickly concludes that he must not like the holiday, with the way he grumbled about the tree and her plans to decorate the cabin.

Pax doesn’t want to fall for Kira, but her bubbly personality and her refusal to let Pax push her away slowly brings his walls down. But Pax is keeping a big secret from Kira, and once she discovers it, will it put a stop to their budding romance?

Pax is standoffish and grumpy, and Kira is outgoing and cherry. Despite this, they work well together as a couple. It was fun watching Pax fall for Kira’s charm and learning to let go of the past. It was nice to see Pax’s group of friends, who were the couples from the previous three books in the series, embrace Kira and make her feel like she was part of their tight circle. While I’ve only previously read the third book in this series, Breaking the Bad Boy’s Rules by Reese Ryan, I felt this book does a good job at giving updates on all the couples from the series. This is the final book in the series, which explains why the other couples are featured more than they were in the previous book I had read. Despite this, I felt that it still works as a standalone.

If you’re looking for a story set around the holidays and enjoy small town romances and opposites attract stories, Their White-Hot Christmas is a book for you. It’s a fun, well-written treat for readers this holiday season.

Life coach Kira Lee’s life is in turmoil, and she needs a place to stay—fast. Why not make the most of it and take some time off? But what should have been a relaxing dude ranch vacation has presented her biggest challenge yet. Real estate mogul and ranch owner Paxton Hart is not only the sexiest man she’s ever seen, he’s also the resident Scrooge. His poverty-stricken childhood has left him more concerned with making money than finding love. But even Pax can’t resist Kira’s spirit…nor her fiery kisses. Will Pax admit that love is worth more than making millions?
