Meet the Authors:

Meet Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.

My current favorite is the Nutella stuffed chocolate chip cookies 😛

  2. Pennie M

Favorite? Um, peanut butter, no chocolate chip, no peanut butter, maybe peanut butter with chocolate chips, or oatmeal raisin. ARGH! Why such a difficult question!?!?!? LOL

My favorite cookie is the soft, melt in your mouth, buttery spritz cookie. The recipe comes from my German/Hungarian M-I-L. It’s delicious!

Love the link of a cookbook to your romance books, an excellent duet and a lovely treat!

Thanks for the cinnamon roll recipe. My favorite breakfast roll. I’ve never tried Nutella. I will make them soon.

Oh I have to say Spritz! I remember growing up and going to my grandparents house around the holidays. Grandma was always making Spritz cookies! Such beautiful memories!

My favorite cookie has to be one that the recipe was handed down to me by my Mom – Ozark Honey Oatmeal Cookie. It has ground pecans, coconut and honey in this oatmeal cookie that only gets better with age not drying out like a lot of cookies. It also ships and freezes well making it a great all around cookie.

My favorite cookie is chocolate with peanut butter chips
    Thanks for the chance!

I make many that are favorites, but there are too many to list. One big favorite that I guess could be considered a cookie are Rum Balls. I use a particularly rich recipe and use bourbon instead of run. You keep them in the refrigerator. They keep quite well. They are a bit strong but really good.

I love so many kinds especially the White Macadamia Nut Cookies, yum!
