Dirty-For-MeDirty For Me by Jackie Ashenden is one of those books that captures your attention straight at the beginning and doesn’t let go until the final page. Once I started this book, I never wanted it to end. The writing, the complexity of the characters, and the engaging storyline had me hooked from the very start.

When Tamara tags along with her friend at a self-defense class in a bad part of town, she’s immediately singled out by the instructor, Ezekiel. Zee knows Tamara doesn’t belong there. Everything about her screams wealth and he goes out of his way to let her know that, but Tamara has no intention of backing down or letting him scare her off.

The longer they are in each other’s presence, the stronger the desire for each other is. Their attraction to each other is strong and instantaneous, but they’re both completely different from each other. Tamara’s the rich girl out to please her parents and he’s the bad boy fighter working at a garage, who can have any woman he wants…and does, when the mood strikes. But Zee’s not exactly who he says he is and when his past comes back to bite him, will anyone make it out alive?

Tamara is going through some rough times at the moment. Her boss is a real jerk and her parents are pressuring her to get married. When her boyfriend proposes, Tamara has no choice but to accept. She owes her parents her life and intends to do everything they want her to do. Tamara’s parents are a real piece of work, but so is Zee’s dad, but in order for Zee and Tamara to have a future together, they must face their pasts and stand up to their family.

Jackie Ashenden is a goddess at creating complex characters and bringing them to life. She has a way with descriptions and a way of capturing the true characteristics of each character, the good and the bad and letting them find their way in life. Overall, Dirty For Me will blow your mind and those readers who love a good bad boy, definitely need to read this one!

Ezekiel “Zee” Chase has a complicated past. Born into a family whose wealth grew from the seedy world of big-time crime, he ran away as a teenager and made a home for himself on the streets of Detroit. By day, the mechanic works at a local garage. But by night, he throws down with the best of them in Detroit’s gritty underground fighting scene. With all those muscles, he’s never had trouble with women–until he meets one who challenges him to the greatest fight of his life. . .

Tamara Eliot is a hardworking corporate high-flyer who appreciates the finer things in life, from her expensive perfume to her designer handbags. More than anything, though, she likes to be in control–and when Zee explodes into her life, she feels anything but. He’s the definition of a bad boy: brash, fiery, and of course, irresistibly hot. And there’s a darkness about him that keeps her coming back for more. As Zee takes Tamara deeper into a world she never knew existed, she just might prove to be the one opponent he won’t be able to dominate–at least not without some pleasurable convincing . . .
