200 Harley Street: The Enigmatic Surgeon by Annie Claydon is the sixth part in the 200 Harley Street series and can be easily read as a standalone. It is a well written, warm romance focusing more on emotions and the connection which brings two people together.

Edward is different than any hero I have ever read. He is a child prodigy and that alone sets him apart from the other medical heroes. He is a geek at heart and his personality appears dull because he has never made an effort to mingle with people beyond what is necessary, But he had a great in depth character which set him apart along with his wonderful insight on every situation. I love geeky heroes and Edward was perfect for me both inside out. Charlotte is a single mother who is struggling to make ends meet. Her life is literally in a mess but she is trying her best to sought everything out. Her son is the glue which brings Charlotte and Edward together and is one of the most important part of their relationship. I generally don’t like over inclusion of children in a romance and though Issac was adorable and one of my favorite things in the story, I would have preferred if the spotlight on him was a little less.

Overall, 200 Harley Street: The Enigmatic Surgeon by Annie Claydon is a well written romance with likable characters.
