A Puppy and a Christmas Proposal by Louisa George: A super cute puppy is the perfect matchmaker!

Alex Norton is walking home after closing Oakdale Medical Centre for the day when he hears a little whine and discovers he was being followed by a cute, fluffy puppy. Alex shoes the dog away but the determined puppy keeps following Alex. When he looks into the beseeching brown eyes of the fluffball he is determined to ignore the puppy. But the puppy has a different idea and sneaks in the door when Alex gets home. Alex is sure someone would be missing the adorable puppy.

After calling and inquiring if anyone reported a lost puppy Alex knows he needs to visit the local veterianan’s office to see if the puppy, now referred to by Alex as Spike, is chipped. That’s when Alex is reconnected with his former fiancee, Beth Masters. Beth is filling in at the local vet’s office while she is back in her hometown helping to get her mother’s house ready to be sold so her mother can move to Bay View. Beth is the only vet in the office when Alex arrives with Spike. She has been avoiding her ex-fiance but the puppy now turns out to be the catalyst for more together time for Beth and Alex. Will the puppy win the day as the perfect matchmaker?

A Puppy and a Christmas Proposal by Louisa George is a heartwarming story of second chance love. The author brings to life two people who parted in pain but never stopped loving each other. Their journey to a HEA is filled with puppy kisses, still magnetic attraction to each other and newly developed better communication skills. Ms. George weaves into the story quaint Christmas traditions and warm holiday spirit. I really enjoyed this story of a triumphant puppy matchmaker and the people he loves.
