Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan Jenna is independent, smart, loves books, and is ready to finally have the family she always wanted. Emmett is enjoying the easy sex and lack of complications in his life. Being a CEO and workaholic, he doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes of his parents and plans to avoid marriage and babies at all costs.

Jenna is looking forward to getting started on her baby making plans, until getting trapped in an elevator with the hottest guy she’s seen. It’s awkward to have such an attractive guy realize where you are headed and why. When Emmett suggests out of the blue that he could donate his sperm the old fashioned way, Jenna is totally surprised…and intrigued.

Jenna has a set path in mind towards her goal and she refuses to let Emmett’s unorthodox suggestion get in the way. She’s determined to keep clear boundaries and make sure that both know exactly what they are getting when she agrees to his suggestion. But Jenna gets more than she bargained for when she actually likes Emmett as a person and not just as her sperm donor.

She blinks up at me, looking confused, then chuckles. “Oh no, we’re not doing it tonight.”
“But you just said-”
“I’m not ovulating yet.” She stands up and pats my cheek, her coy smile maddening. “Good night, big boy. Let’s talk next Tuesday.”

Trying to get pregnant is certainly a lot of fun when you have their kind of chemistry. But the more they try to get pregnant, the closer they get and the more the lines are blurred. They genuinely like each other and begin to see a very different future forming where maybe Emmett doesn’t walk away. Their lives are more intertwined than they expected and she doesn’t just fall easily at his feet.

“I would never.” He puts his hand right over my heart, his features softening. “I just need to find the right questions to ask.” Then he flashes me a smile. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you’re trying to get me drunk to take advantage of me.”
“Mr. Booty Call, I can take advantage of you whenever I want. I don’t need help from alcohol.”

Baby Daddy is oh so entertaining and sexy as their intentions are blown to smithereens. Kendall Ryan brings the banter as they navigate what to do once their mission is accomplished. Ms. Ryan created well-matched characters with a good supporting cast. Fans of Lauren Blakely and Katie Ashley will enjoy Baby Daddy.

We met in a trapped elevator.

Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie.

I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right?

At thirty-five, my life hadn’t taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting—I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen.

After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner—he also insisted on something else—that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy. He was a wealthy and powerful CEO with little interest in diapers or playdates. And since he didn’t want kids, I’d be on my own once his bun was in my oven, free to go my own way.

But once his baby was inside me, it was like a switch had been flipped, and I got a whole lot more than I ever bargained for.

This full-length standalone contains a hot, swoonworthy hero, lots of playful banter and some hot baby-making s-e-x! Enjoy.
