Going Down Easy (Boys of the Big Easy #1) by Erin Nicholas: She has a five-year-old daughter. He has a five-year-old son. They are both single parents. For the last six months, one weekend a month, they’ve hooked-up with each other. That’s it – a hook-up. No personal information exchanged, just hot and heavy sex and doing tourist things in New Orleans where he lives. Now she has moved to New Orleans. How will that change things?
Addison Sloan just landed a great job with Monroe and LeBlanc, one of the top restoration architecture firms in New Orleans. She and her daughter, Stella need to adjust to their new setting. No time for more hook-ups. Gabe Trahan owns a bar located in a historic building in New Orleans. He thinks he is falling in love with with Addison so doesn’t accept her good-bye. They both now attend the same single-parent support group. They can’t avoid each other now and their children have met there on family day and have taken a liking to each other. And then…..
Going Down Easy is the first book in author Erin Nicholas’ new series, Boys of the Big Easy. This book is not just another sexy romance book. There is so much more to it. I found this story to be a thought-provoking read about the difficulties of being a single parent as well as an entertaining love story. The main characters, Addison and Gabe are both loving, tough and dedicated to their kids. They both have some emotional baggage and misgivings about how well they are doing as single parents. The two children, Stella and Cooper add levity and poignancy to the story. There’s also lots of sexy times, fun and happiness.
Great beginning to this series! Author Erin Nicholas never disappoints!

Hot fling or real thing? There are no Big Easy answers in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Erin Nicholas’s sultry series.
As far as flings go, single dad Gabe Trahan is pretty sure that Addison Sloan is his best bet. Once a month, Addison comes to New Orleans and then…It. Is. On. Until Addison returns to New York, it’s just hot, happily-no-strings-attached sex. And beignets. And jazz. But lately for Gabe, it isn’t nearly enough.
Sure, maybe Addison’s gotten a bit hooked on Gabe. After all, who can resist a guy who’s so sexy, so charming, and so…available? But maybe he’s too available for her right now. Addison’s just moved to New Orleans, and relationships are definitely off the table. Besides, guys always bail when they learn her secret: she’s a single mom.
Only Gabe’s not running. Worse, he’s thrilled. But Addison never signed up for ever-after romance, and Gabe won’t settle for anything less. Now it’s a battle of wills—and when it comes to the woman he’s falling for, Gabe isn’t above playing a little dirty.
